Burger Sauce in a jar.

“Burger night” is a weekly occurence at my house. And this burger sauce is always present because it’s easy to whip up and makes every burger *that* much better.

Ingredients You’ll Need for this Burger Sauce

Ingredients You'll need for Burger Sauce.
  1. Ketchup. I’m a classic girl and love Heinz. I go with Organic Heinz to keep it classy.
  2. Mayonnaise. Again, I go classic with Hellmann’s.
  3. Pickles. I like bread and butter pickles because of the added sweetness and the crunch is perfection.
  4. Pickle juice. A teaspoon of pickle juice adds nice acidity to the burger sauce. You could also use white vinegar.
  5. Dijon mustard. This adds some nice dimension to the burger sauce.

For the rest of the ingredients and exact measurements, please see the recipe index card below!

Recipe Tip

  • Add in dill pickles. If you want a more briny vibe, go with dill pickles.
  • Want less sweetness? Seek out unsweetened ketchup like this one from Primal Kitchen.

  • Dice up the pickles. If you want it smaller, feel free to mince it. I like it a bit chunky so I keep it diced.

  • Add all of the ingredients to a small bowl and mix up. Add this sauce to smash burgers, Big Macs, animal-style French fries and more. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
